Not every event changes your way of thinking. Pressure Talks does.

Pressure Talks is not an event.

It is a movement.

A place where forward-thinking leaders, HR professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, scientists, and experts come together to shape the future of healthy performance.

Because the challenges organisations face today require a different way of thinking.

More work pressure.

More change.

More mental strain.

More uncertainty.

Above all, one crucial question:

How do we ensure that both people and organisations achieve sustainable performance without pressure ultimately unbalancing them?

During the exclusive Pressure Talks afternoon sessions, we bring together those who want to look beyond absenteeism figures, isolated vitality initiatives, and temporary fixes. People who want to understand the impact of stress on the brain. What leadership truly means under pressure. And how science and practical experience can work together to build stronger, healthier, and future-ready organisations.

Do not expect a traditional conference.

No long presentations.

No sales pitches.

Instead, an afternoon filled with inspiration, interaction, and surprising insights.

Featuring inspiring keynote speakers, real-life case studies, live demonstrations, the latest scientific insights, meaningful connections, and conversations that will change how you look at work, leadership, and human performance.

Each edition focuses on a current theme and is newly curated from the ground up. As a result, no two Pressure Talks are ever the same.

The speakers...

Connecting When the Pressure Is On

Mark Huis in ’t Veld, known as That Guy in Blue, has worked in more than 25 countries and trained thousands of coaches.

With humour, energy and sharp observations, he lets you experience what communication and genuine connection really mean when the pressure rises.

Not through a rehearsed story, but through direct interaction with the audience.

Martijn Den Otter:

The Science Behind Performing Under Pressure

Martijn den Otter is a neuroscientist, profiler and founder of Neurofactor. He reveals what happens in the brain and body when pressure builds, and how stress can increasingly be made visible and measurable.

During Pressure Talks, he brings this science to life with a live demonstration. You’ll discover why people respond differently to pressure and when healthy tension starts to tip into overload.

Sham Moodliar:

The Human Side of Change

As of January 1, 2026, Sham Moodliar has been appointed Chief Transformation Officer at TU/e. Prior to this role, he served as Managing Director of the Department of Chemical Engineering & Chemistry. Before joining TU/e, he held executive positions at international organisations including Accenture, Shell, FedEx and SITA Aero.

At Pressure Talks, Sham shares his perspective on leadership, transformation and the human side of change. At the heart of his message is the power of a big WHY — and the importance of embracing obstacles rather than avoiding them.

One thing we can already promise:

This will not be a standard conference.

This will not be an afternoon you forget after a week.

This will be an experience that fundamentally changes your view on stress, leadership, and performance.

One of a kind.

Because the best conversations happen when the right people come together, Pressure Talks is intentionally intimate. This creates space for genuine connections, valuable discussions, and new collaborations among people who all share the same ambition: building organisations where both people and performance can grow sustainably.

You might leave with new knowledge.

Perhaps with a valuable collaboration.

Perhaps with an entirely new perspective.

But one thing is certain:

You will leave differently than you arrived.
